How we protect your meetings
Board meetings include confidential matters. Here is what EasyBoard does to keep them that way.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Every connection uses HTTPS. Recordings, transcripts and minutes are stored with cloud providers that encrypt data at rest.
Access by role
Access to meetings, minutes and documents is enforced by database access rules and each person’s role, not just by what the app shows.
Confidential items kept apart
Every meeting gets open-session minutes and a separate restricted version for in-camera matters. Transcripts can also have personal details such as phone numbers removed.
A record of every change
Each version of the minutes is kept, along with which directors approved or asked for changes.
Our practices
- ✓Payments go through Stripe: we never see or store card numbers
- ✓Microsoft Teams recordings are deleted from our storage 90 days after the meeting
- ✓Data is stored in the United States; our Privacy Policy lists every provider we use
- ✓If a breach puts your information at risk, we notify you and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires
